Privacy Policy

ASPAN Inspect is an internal business application provided by ASPAN Energy for solar PV site inspections. This policy explains what data the app collects, why, and your choices.

Who this is for

ASPAN Inspect is used by engineers and administrators authorized by ASPAN Energy. Accounts are created and approved by an administrator. The app is not directed to children.

What we collect

• Account information — your name and email address, used to sign you in and identify you on inspections and reports.
• Password — if you use a password to sign in, it is stored only as a secure one-way hash. We never store your password in readable form.
• Profile photo — optional, if you choose to add one.
• Inspection content you create — site survey answers, measurements, notes, photographs you take of the site, and your signature captured at sign-off.

We do not collect your location, we do not use analytics or advertising, we do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell your data.

How we use it

Data is used solely to operate the app: to authenticate you, to let you complete and submit site inspections, and to let ASPAN Energy administrators review inspections and generate reports. That is the only purpose — the app has no advertising, analytics, or tracking.

Where it is stored

Data is stored on servers operated for ASPAN Energy on DigitalOcean's cloud platform, and inspection photos, signatures and generated reports are stored in DigitalOcean object storage. Access is restricted to authorized ASPAN Energy accounts.

Retention and deletion

We keep your account data until your account is deleted. You can delete your account at any time in the app under Profile → Delete account — this permanently removes your account and personal data (name, email, password, profile photo).

Completed inspections are business records of ASPAN Energy. Where an inspection you signed, a report you generated, or a task you created must be retained for business and compliance reasons, that record is kept but is anonymized so it is no longer linked to your personal identity. Sharing

Your inspection data is visible to authorized ASPAN Energy administrators for review and reporting. We do not share personal data with third parties except the infrastructure provider (DigitalOcean) that hosts the service on our behalf, and where required by law.

Your rights

You can view and update your profile in the app, change your password, and delete your account. For any other request about your personal data, contact us at nurasyl7892005@gmail.com.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above.
